Project Description
The new Coolaroo Station is on the Craigieburn line between the existing Broadmeadows and Roxburgh Park stations. The new station improves public transport access for people in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
The new station features:
The new Coolaroo Station is on the Craigieburn line between the existing Broadmeadows and Roxburgh Park stations. The new station improves public transport access for people in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
The new station features:
- covered waiting areas, ticket machines, passenger information displays and points, and closed circuit television security cameras
- a park and ride facility for approximately 490 cars
- a pedestrian overpass with lifts and stairs from the western side of the station to Kalimna Crescent on the eastern side
- landscaping and fencing
- drop-off facilities on Longford Crescent and within the station car park.
